Not medical or nutritional advice

FurMeal is a planning and tracking tool, not a healthcare service. Its meal plans, calorie and macronutrient targets, and AI-generated reviews are informational only and are not medical, nutritional, or dietetic advice. They are generated automatically from the details you enter and are not reviewed by a doctor, dietitian, or any other qualified professional.

Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a diet, especially if you are pregnant, under 18, managing a medical condition, taking medication, have a history of disordered eating, or are pursuing aggressive weight change. Do not disregard professional advice because of something FurMeal produced. You use the plans at your own risk.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use FurMeal. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information - the quality of your plans depends on it.

AI-generated content

Plan generation, plan editing, and progress reviews are produced by an AI model. AI output can be wrong, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Review anything it produces before acting on it - particularly food quantities, cooking times and temperatures, and food safety guidance. You are responsible for preparing and storing food safely.

Free trial and subscription

FurMeal is a subscription service. When you create your account, a free trial of 7 days begins. After the trial ends, the app requires an active subscription to continue using it. You will not be charged during the trial, and you can stop at any time without buying anything.

Subscriptions are sold on the FurMeal website and billed by our payment processor, Stripe, on a monthly or annual basis. The price is shown before you subscribe. If you subscribe during your free trial, the first charge is taken when the trial ends; otherwise it is taken when you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel. You can cancel, change plan, or update your payment method at any time from Settings → Subscription in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting your FurMeal account cancels an active subscription immediately.

If something goes wrong with a charge, or a feature fails through no fault of yours, contact us and we will make it right.

Usage limits

AI features are metered to keep the service sustainable. A subscription (and the free trial) includes up to 8 AI plan generations or edits and 2 AI progress reviews per calendar month. Unused allowance does not carry over, and the counts reset at the start of each month (UTC). Everything else - the diary, prep guide, shopping list, weigh-ins, and reminders - is not metered. We may adjust these limits; material changes will be announced in the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Access other users' data, or attempt to bypass authentication or usage limits.
• Disrupt, overload, or probe the service or its infrastructure.
• Use the AI features to generate content that is unlawful or harmful.
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission.

Your content

Your plans, diary entries, weigh-ins, and conversations remain yours. You grant FurMeal only the permission needed to store and process them in order to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

FurMeal is provided as-is and as-available. Features may change or be withdrawn, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. The offline mode is a convenience, not a guarantee - keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Ending your use

You may stop using FurMeal and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or that we are legally required to act on.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FurMeal is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any health outcome arising from following a plan generated by the app. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and you may have consumer rights that these terms do not override.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the date at the top reflects the latest version, and continued use means acceptance. They are governed by the laws of the United States.
